According to a recent study by the National Association of Realtors, about 50% of home buyers go online first when looking for property. This is why it is very important to optimize your site so as to make it easy for people to find you online. Here are 5 great tips for optimizing your real estate website:1. Have a solid content strategy Content marketing is not just about publishing property listings on your site. To keep visitors coming back, you need to continually update your site with fresh and helpful articles, blog posts, resources and tools. The more people visit your site, the higher your site will be ranked in Google. For example, if you are selling property in a certain town or city, you could write a series of articles taking about why people should consider living there. Or you could write articles offering tips for first-time home buyers. Go further and create a tool that property buyers can use to calculate mortgage payments. Here are some tips for optimizing your content:Use high-quality videos, graphics and imagesInclude keyword-rich alt image tags, title tags and descriptions Link internally to other resources and pagesWrite for people, not search enginesPlace your main key phrase or keyword in the sub headers and headersWrite long form content (preferably 1,000+ words)2. Target local keywordsKeywords are basically terms that people use when searching for information online. Including relevant keywords in your content will make it easier for customers and prospects to find you via search engines. To maximize your effectiveness, it would be advisable to o ptimize for local keywords or phrases. For example, if you are selling property in Bexar County in Texas, you should use key phrases like âBexar homes for saleâ, âHomes for sale in Bexarâ or âBexar real estate agentâ.However, donât make the mistake of using a keyword too many times on one page. Google could penalize you for keyword stuffing.READ7 SEO Tips To Consider in 20193. Encouraging Creativity Out of the
à Our IEW forum is a robust community of parents, teachers, co-op facilitators, and hybrid school instructors all coming together to support one another in implementing IEW. Every once in a while, a forum thread is just too good to not share it with a broader audience. This is just such a thread! Enjoy reading how Jill Pike, IEW Accomplished Instructor, encourages a parent on her daughterââ¬â¢s fledgling writing skills! Original Question: ââ¬Å"My daughter, 9, has been working on learning sentence openers. She is consistently using very awkward -ing openers. For example, she might write "Walking wetly, the duck moved toward the pond." We discussed that when you use an adverb, you should check to make sure that you really want it to apply to the "verby" part of participial opener and not to the object of the participial phrase or the subject of the sentence (she does understand all of those types of parts of sentences). I have been having her "correct" incorrect sentences, which she usually does successfully. Yet she still comes up with the awkward constructions in her own writing. I think we've been at it for about 6 weeks. Should I just drop the -ing opener? Should I allow her to use the awkward openers and correct them later in her writing career? Or is there something else I should be doing to teach a less awkward -ing opener?â⬠Jillââ¬â¢s answer: ââ¬Å"Think back to when your daughter was learning to talk. You probably loved the little phrases she came up with. In our family, we still use some of those kid-invented phrases in our home: Oââ¬â¢cheese (Mac ââ¬Ën cheese), Daddy Ketchup (BBQ sauce), and Loder (yogurtââ¬âtook us forever to figure out what the kid meant!). The constructions that she is using in her writing are no differentââ¬âthey are really very clever ways of saying something. ââ¬Å"The goal of the sentence openers and the dress-ups are to add variety to the writing and make it come alive. Your daughterââ¬â¢s construction does just that: Walking wetly, the duck moved toward the pond. ââ¬Å"Although I have never heard that particular phrase before, I can totally picture ââ¬Å"walking wetly.â⬠Not only is it strong, it is so unusual that it made me smile and want to read more. Also, I donââ¬â¢t think she is using that -ly adverb incorrectly. Adverbs can modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs. In her phrase, ââ¬Å"wetlyâ⬠answers the question ââ¬Å"How did the duck walk?â⬠It is totally legitââ¬âat least in a kidââ¬â¢s eye. As adults weââ¬â¢ll complain that ââ¬Å"a duck canââ¬â¢t walk wetly!â⬠but that doesnââ¬â¢t really matter because a kid would get it. ââ¬Å"Use the sentence to start a conversation to help her write what she was thinking, or at least come up with a clearer opener. I would say, ââ¬Å"I love your ââ¬Ëwalking wetlyââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬âlove the alliteration! But I am not quite sure what you mean by ââ¬Ëwalking wetly.ââ¬â¢ Can you tell me a bit more?â⬠Then help her say what she wanted to say, or help her come up with an alternative. Talk about what a duck would sound like/look like if it were wet: ââ¬Å"Squelching with every stepâ⬠or ââ¬Å"Dripping green algaeâ⬠might work instead. Since the duck is heading toward the pond, it isnââ¬â¢t wet yet. Is it looking forward to something? ââ¬Å"Looking forward to a swimâ⬠or ââ¬Å"Wanting breakfastâ⬠or ââ¬Å"Quacking incessantlyâ⬠might also work. Give her lots of options to convey what she was thinking, and let her pick. ââ¬Å"To encourage you, here is a paragraph by Andrew Pudewaââ¬â¢s daughter, Fiona, when she was about your daughterââ¬â¢s age: Regretful Experience by Fiona One exceedingly hot summerââ¬â¢s day in the sky the hawk who was peacefully flying about, noticed an un-friendly parakeet picking at his tail. Regretfully, he turned around, lost his balance and was tragically heading for the ground when he overcame and got back his consciousness and lofted back in the air and was a little sprained but his notion was to strike back at the parakeet but when he got there, the little pest wasnââ¬â¢t there. Then at that exact moment realized he wasnââ¬â¢t doing the right thing by frightening but by simply asking politely and now he was terribly hurt so he decided to write a short story about his regretful experience. ââ¬Å"All of that is just three sentences! You can imagine Mrs. Pudewaââ¬â¢s angst as she read it. But Andrew told his wife, ââ¬ËThis is wonderful! Donââ¬â¢t squelch her creativity as you help her fix it.ââ¬â¢ ââ¬Å"Most of my children wrote like this as well. It has always been a headache to help them edit their work while maintaining my own sanity, but I promise you that they grow out of it into wonderful adults. It is worth the time and effort! ââ¬Å"Your daughter is only nine. There is plenty of time for her to mature and start writing like the rest of us. When that happens, youââ¬â¢ll pull out these early compositions and laugh just as you do with her first people drawings when she was four. It is perfectly fine for her to do this.â⬠We hope that Jillââ¬â¢s wise words to another parent may bless you as you endeavor to teach your own students. If you havenââ¬â¢t already, we encourage you to join our forum!

Sample Management Plan For Medical Equipment - 1332 Words
2.5Maintenance Management Plan Dyro (2004) indicates that periodic medical device management is a fundamental element of equipment management. Arno, Dowling and Schuerger (2016) report that high reliability and low maintenance costs are common targets for all maintenance programs. A carefully designed preventative maintenance can reduce maintenance costs through the prevention of degradation failure through preemptive intervention. Corrective maintenance is required when a failure occurs and it is often more expensive than a preventative maintenance. Preventative maintenance is implemented to decrease the probability of some particular expected failures and therefore decrease the overall maintenance cost. 2.5.1 Preventive Maintenance Medical equipment is usually expensive and require high mechanical precision, especially for the equipment that produce devices that install in patientsââ¬â¢ body. Fennigkoh and Smith (1989) indicate that medical equipment needs constant maintenance to make sure that it can perform required high-requirements, which makes preventive maintenance very important in medical industry. Analysis Of The Poem Kuwl - 967 Words
Kuwl, translated as a kind of sustenance, is exemplified throughout the Old Testament in which various individuals or groups of people are sustained with food and drink, as well as clothing. The Enlightenment Philosophers What Was Their Main Idea
Literature Network à » Literary Periods à » The Enlightenment 57 The Enlightenment The Enlightenment, sometimes referred to as the Age of Reason, was a confluence of ideas and activities that took place throughout the eighteenth century in Western Europe, England, and the American colonies. Scientific rationalism, exemplified by the scientific method, was the hallmark of everything related to the Enlightenment. Following close on the heels of the Renaissance, Enlightenment thinkers believed that the advances of science and industry heralded a new age of egalitarianism and progress for humankind. The Renaissance was the seed, while the Enlightenment was the blossom. The idea of a ââ¬Å"public,â⬠an informed collection of citizens invested in the common good and preservation of the state, reached fruition during the Enlightenment. Curiously, the coffee shop or cafà © became the unofficial center of this new entity. Citizens would gather to read whatever literature was available, to engage in heated conversation with neighbors, or to ponder the affairs of state. What made this kind of revolution in free time possible was an increasingly urban, sophisticated population coupled with the steady progress of industrialization. The coffee houses became the stomping grounds of some of the greatest thinkers of the age. Indeed, democracy would have been unachievable if the citizens had no community forum in which to commiserate, plan, and debate their needs and desires. Grassroots political movements were the natural outgrowth of these populist venues. It must be stated, of course, that this public entity was still a very exclusive one. Women, minor ities, and the lower classes were not exactly welcomed into this new civil discourse. For all the high-minded discussion of a new, egalitarian social order, the western world was still predominantly owned by middle class men.Show MoreRelatedWhat Was the Main Ideas of Enlightenment Philosophers?838 Words à |à 4 PagesXavier Jefferson 4-13-13 Mr. Love What is the Church? Presidency as an institution Essay - 1239 Words
The Presidency as an institution Both the administration of Carter and Reagan were shaped by the Cold War in the aftermath of Watergate. Watergate created cynicism of the government, which in turn made governing difficult both intentionally as well as improvisational because the institution of the President was seen as acting in the best interest of itself. President Jimmy Carter and President Ronald Reagan both had their difficulties as President. As more novelists adopted this Gothic setting; dark and gloomy castles on high, treacherous mountains, with supernatural howling in the distance; other characteristics of the Gothic Novel could be identified.
